The country’s first electric-powered tricycle could be soon plying Metro Manila’s busy side streets.
According to its inventor, Marilao, Bulacan town councilor Allan Aguilar, the public transport tricycle that he called the “e-trike” had impressed LTO officials during the testing at its main office in Quezon City.
“We passed the speed and carrying capacity test,” Aguilar said.
Aguilar said the LTO officials were impressed that his tricycle was the first of its kind to pass the carrying capacity and speed tests for a low-speed vehicle.[Read More...]
