Pauleen Luna: “ Hindi po ako buntis.”

Viewers of Eat Bulaga’s segment “Juan for All, All For Juan”, witnessed how Pauleen Luna fainted while interviewing their contestant on the show. All the people on the remote and either in studio were shocked and panicked seeing Dabarkads Pauleen fell on the floor. But Pauleen denied the rumors that the reason she fainted is because she is pregnant.

“Hindi po ako buntis,”Pauleen answered on “Showbiz Central” last February 19.

The rumors became viral because of Vic said on that moment she fainted, “Hindi ba naghahanap ng maasim o ano?”

Pauleen Luna defended Vic’s statement, “Bossing is just making things lighter kasi, of course, the whole studio was panicking, sila lahat. Even sa remote lahat nagpa-panic.” Pauleen made it clear that she has a history of fainting and it was not the first time.

Pauleen explained what happened that day.

“Nu’ng may tinawagan na sina Bossing at palakad na kami sa contestant [ay] wala na akong naintindihan. Umiikot na talaga ang paningin ko. Tapos tumatawa sila, nakikitawa na lang ako,” Pauleen recalled.  I didn’t wanna naman…ayoko namang mag-inarte just because nahihilo ako. ‘Pag about face, parang gumagano’n gano’n na ako talaga [motioning a circular movement in the air].

Pauleen said she fainted because of lack of sleep, food intake and fatigue.

Vic Sotto neither confirms nor denies relationship with Pauleen

During the press conference for his Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Enteng ng Ina Mo”, Vic Sotto mulled allegations that he and co-Eat Bulaga host, Pauleen Luna are an item.

The former box office king evaded questions when asked about the issue and only said that “Pauleen Luna has a very important cameo role in this film (‘Enteng ng Ina Mo’). That’s all there is to it.” Sotto said.

Sotto was also asked if he’s going to have a warm “Christmas” this year and he answered “Maraming nagpapainit. Tuwing Pasko, natatanong din ako niyan. Magsindi ka ng posporo. Parating makulay ang aking buhay…Parati akong may inspirasyon. Marami akong inspirasyon. Marami akong love life,” he added.

The news about Sotto and Luna surfaced when The Philippine Star columnist Ricky Lo mentioned in his article and Sotto and Luna are officially an item. According to Lo, a reliable source told him that “they are officially an item” and added that the relationship is already obvious because of the subtle sweetness happening between the two on-set in Eat Bulaga.

The source also mentioned that Luna has already replaced the Vic’s ex-girlfriend Pia Guanio as the “first lady” of Eat Bulaga who has already married Steve Magno.

In the Twitter world, many bashed the relationship especially of the fact that Sotto is 57 and Luna is 23 while others didn’t believe the showbiz news.

Joey De Leon visits the Buzz and trends on Twitter

In line with promoting his latest film “Won’t Last A Day Without You” with Gerald Anderson and Sarah Geronimo, veteran comedian and host Joey De Leon visited the set of the Buzz for the first time last Sunday. She was interviewed by Toni Gonzaga who was a former host in the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” before she transferred to ABS-CBN.

Upon arriving, de Leon gave an “Eat Bulaga” coffee table book to Gonzaga that featured an old photo of Gonzaga with the hosts of the show.  This turned Gonzaga emotional.

But the veteran comedian admitted that they were sad when Gonzaga left the show.

“Siyempre nalungkot kami nung nawala ka. Pero ngayon, napapanood pa rin naman kita eh,” he said. “O tignan mo naman, nung umalis ka umasenso ka,” he added “Kung di ka lumayas sa ‘Bulaga’ edi baka sa EB Babes ka na.”

Gonzaga on the other hand said that she is thankful to have worked and learned from a showbiz icon like Joey de Leon. “Mabibilang ko ang sarili ko sa isa sa mga pinakamaswerte sa henerasyon na ito na nakatrabaho ang isang Joey de Leon,” she said.

In the Twitter world, viewers were also affected by “reunion” of de Leon and Gonzaga. “Joey de Leon” ranked fifth on the list on Sunday afternoon. Netizens tweeted that they enjoyed the interview wherein they felt emotional and at the same time laughed with de Leon’s antics.
