Mark Dacascos, another Filipino international actor

Mark Dacascos is known for his portrayal as “the Chairman” on Food Network‘s television series Iron Chef America. He was presented as the nephew Takeshi Kaga whom previously played in the original Japanese Iron Chef though they aren’t really related.

He also competed on Dancing with the Stars‘s season 9 paired with Lacey Schwimmer, but they were eliminated in the 7th episode.

So what about him? Oh well, Dacascos’ father, Al Dacascos, is from Hawaii and is a martial arts instructor of Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese ancestry. Which means that Mark Dacascos is an another Filipino who made a name internationally!

Just November 2 last year, it was announced by CBS that Mark Dacascos was chosen to play the role of Wo Fat in the 2010 remake of an American police procedural drama television series and a re-imagining of the original 1968–1980 television series, Hawaii Five-0.
