Pacquiao arrives home

MANILA, Philippines — (UPDATE) Pound-for-pound king Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, who successfully seized the WBO welterweight belt from Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto, arrived at the NAIA Terminal 2 aboard Philippine Airlines Flight PR103 at 5:30 a.m.

He was accompanied by his wife, Jinkee, and members of Team Pacquiao. With them were Deputy National Security Adviser Luis “Chavit” Singson and Environment Secretary Lito Atienza, two of Pacquiao’s close friends.

Pacquiao was warmly welcomed by three of his children, whom he said he missed a lot since he started training for his fight in Las Vegas.

At the airport lounge where he held a brief press conference, Pacquiao said his next opponent will be determined when American Floyd Mayweather Jr. poses the challenge.
