Government pays P350 million for DTI building land

MANILA, Philippines – The government has spent P350 million to buy the land which will house the new office of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The new office will be located at the Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.

DTI did not say how much the entire project will cost the government.

The National Development Corp. (NDC) is the developer of the project. NDC has purchased the1.2 hectare lot last Jan. 29 of this year from the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA). One DTI building will occupy 40,000 square meters that will house the 37 offices, bureaus and attached agencies of the department.
