Gov’t sticks to negotiation

The government will continue to negotiate for the release of three humanitarian workers held hostage by Abu Sayyaf terrorists in Sulu, even as troops are repositioned for a possible rescue mission to free the hostages.

Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said Wednesday that negotiations with the Abu Sayyaf terrorists would continue despite their earlier repudiation on an agreement to free one hostage in exchange for a troop pullout from Sulu province.
