Department of Justice reopens Dacer case

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Justice (DOJ) reconvened yesterday the panel of prosecutors handling the Dacer-Corbito double murder case that would now include new witnesses in its investigation.

Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez said the panel of prosecutors that investigated the eight-year-old murder case was reconvened in anticipation of the arrival of new witnesses to bolster the prosecution.

He said the new witnesses include former police senior superintendents Cesar Mancao and Glenn Dumlao and Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) Assistant Secretary Reynaldo Berroya.
