Microsoft continues to assist the Philippines’ computer literacy program. The U-S software giant opened a new IT learning facility under the joint project of the Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration, Microsoft Philippines and the Blas F. Ople Policy Center.
To be known simply as “TULAY,” it is located at the Blas F. Ople Development Center /OWWA building in Intramuros, Manila.
The Tulay (or Bridge) computer literacy program, a part of the Microsoft Unlimited Potential-Community Technology Skills Program, started in 2004 as a joint undertaking between Microsoft and OWWA leading to the establishment of overseas learning facilities in Singapore and Malaysia.
