Believe it or not, dry skin is a common skin problem that Filipinos have even though we live in a tropical country. We’ve all experienced it at one point or another, the tight feeling of skin when movement or stretching is made into a most uncomfortable state. A bath is in order when this happens, however, it provides only momentary relief. Barely an hour after the shower, our skin is once again parched, as the water and cleanser used strips skin of oils. Applying lotion proves futile as the desired moisture is short-lived. A great alternative to consider would be introducing body oils to your skin care regimen. Oils tend to last longer than lotions, with their moisturizing effect lingering throughout the day.
