World Bank considering furnishing Senate scandal report

This, after WB Country Director Bert Hofman said he forwarded Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago’s letter to the lending institution’s main office in Washington D.C.

“Your [Ms. Santiago’s] letter raises important considerations of national and international law with respect to availability of information in the context of the World Bank’s recent debarment of international and domestic firms on grounds of collusion,” Mr. Hofman wrote on Feb. 9 in reply to Ms. Santiago’s Feb. 6 letter.
