BFAR to build 4 more fishing ports

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is putting up four fishing ports to encourage more fishers to operate in the country’s resource-rich exclusive economic zone in the Pacific Ocean.

BFAR Director Malcolm I. Sarmiento said the fish ports will be constructed in Casiguran, Aurora; Infanta, Quezon, Tacloban City, Leyte; and Surigao City, Surigao del Norte.
