Lackluster trading expected to continue

DBP-Daiwa Securities, Inc. said trading is expected to be volatile since local companies are to start releasing their fourth-quarter and full-year earnings reports for 2008, which most analysts believed would not be good.

Globe Telecom, Inc., for instance, is scheduled to report its fourth-quarter financial performance on Wednesday.
