LPG lack may last until March

Oil firms suffer from no supply deliveries.Cooking gas supply down as prices soar.

Filipino households may need to stretch their patience a little longer, as the promise of the Department of Energy (DoE) on stabilized liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) supply starting this week failed to materialize.

Instead, DoE Director Zenaida Y. Monsada said in a meeting of the National Price Coordinating Council (NPCC) that tight LPG supply situation may persist until February; while the prescription given by the LPG Marketers Association (LPGMA) is for consumers to put up with this dilemma until March this year.
